In addition to a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education from Brock University, Irene has completed a Diploma in Career and Work Counselling from George Brown College, a Diploma in Training and Development from O.I.S.E. as well as a Business Certificate in Marketing from Humber College. Irene achieved Career Management Fellow status in 2004 through the Institute of Career Certification International. During her involvement, she has acted as a Sponsor and Applicant Reviewer. Irene was appointed to the Board of Governors in 2013.
