Allan Gatenby became a member of the Board of Governors for the Institute of Career Certification International in 2011.

He has over 30 years of exceptional leadership experience, holding an M Ed (Leadership & Management), and specialising in change management. He established Sustainability Consultants and later formed Integral Change a joint venture with an internationally accredited Master Coach, to provide integrated change management services.

In addition to managing his own practices Allan is the Director of Programs at ACPI Inc and the Vice President of NSW Division of CDAA. He is passionate about professional standards. This has led him to develop different pathways for practitioners to enhance their competencies and gain recognition for their professionalism. He designed and delivers a professional accreditation program and a mentor-based practice development program. He was recently recognised for his services to the Career Development industry by being included in the 2010 -2011 Stanford Who's Who in career develop.

He holds additional qualifications in Investigation and Conciliation, OHS, Choice Theory, Reality Therapy and Lead Management. He has also trained as a facilitator with both the Franklin Covey and Glasser Institutes; is an internationally accredited Career Planning Practitioner, and is currently enrolled at the Institute of Life Coaching.

He is highly intuitive and creative, yet systematic and purposeful in his approach. He is a strategic thinker and works with clients to deliver well researched strategic plans - the basis for sustainable growth. He enables people and organisations to work SMARTER rather than harder.

Allan is a sought after as a presenter and facilitator. He has presented at local, national and international conferences on leadership, change management, community building, education, inclusive practice and people management. He has worked across both public and private sectors as a change manager. He was nominated for a National Award for quality leadership in 2005.
